New FAQ answers: pay-to-win, progress safety, connecting, bots and realm details.
New pages: Changelog, Roadmap, Bug Tracker and Why Primordial.
Logged-in players can now report bugs on the website and follow their status.

Server

The Raid Browser is now enabled in the Dungeon Finder (LFG) window, alongside dungeon and seasonal event queues.
If your connection drops, your character now stays in the world for up to 60 seconds so you can reconnect.

Bots

2026-10-31

The random bot population now scales from 25 up to 250 (was 5 to 20).
Bots gather in the zones where players are, so the world around you feels busier.
About 40% of random bots are now max level (80), so Northrend and endgame dungeon queues feel livelier.
Random bots only run while at least one real player is online: they log in shortly after you do and log out a few minutes after the last player leaves.
The server now uses more threads for map updates to keep things smooth with more bots.

Bots

Bots updated to the latest mod-playerbots build.
Raid roles are now picked in one place and announced to the group.
Bots sell, buy and repair at vendors on their own, and choose and open loot more reliably.
New Warsong Gulch tactics for bots.
Bots can start quests from quest-starting items.

Server

2026-10-31

Game server core updated to AzerothCore 93333d6a9 (35 upstream fixes).
Combat: dual-wield weapons now swing on independent timers, PvP combat lasts its full timeout after the victim dies, and Ignite no longer starts combat.
Ulduar: Freya's Elder trio adds no longer revive into the next wave, Mimiron's Image can target Crusher Tentacles, and Corruptor Tentacle casts are delayed and can be silenced or stunned.
Black Temple: Akama now attacks the Shade of Akama and the encounter resets if Akama dies; Naj'entus's Impaling Spine and Needle Spine only target players.
Trial of the Crusader: Northrend Beasts (Acidmaw and Icehowl) ability timers now match retail.
Obsidian Sanctum: encounter auras are removed when you leave the instance.
Exit Now logs you out right away, plus several quest and creature placement fixes.

Warpweaver (transmog) and the Arena Spectator now stand in Stormwind (Trade District, near the Auction House), Orgrimmar (Valley of Strength, near the inn) and Dalaran.
The Orgrimmar Dungeon Master now stands in front of the bank in the Valley of Strength.
Server Info has a new Where to Find NPCs section.
