Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the game, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

1. What We Collect

Account details: your account name, email address and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Connection data: your IP address and login times, recorded when you use the website or log in to the game.
Game data: your characters, items, progress, in-game chat and mail, and staff actions such as warnings or bans.
Messages you send us: bug reports, emails and support requests.

We do not ask for your real name, address or phone number, and we do not run advertising trackers.

2. How We Use It

To create your account, log you in and run the game.
To send account emails, such as activation or password reset messages.
To protect the server: stopping cheating, abuse and attacks, and enforcing the Rules.
To fix bugs and improve the server.

3. Cookies and Sessions

The website uses one session cookie to keep you logged in and remember choices such as your language. It is secure, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and ends when you close your browser or log out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Some parts of the site load content from other services, which may see your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies: Google Fonts (text styles), the Discord widget, YouTube videos or links, and the PayPal payment buttons on the donation page (only loaded when you are logged in and open that page).

We never sell, rent or trade your personal data. Only server staff can see it, and only to run the server. We will only share it if the law requires us to.

5. Donations

If you donate, the payment is processed by PayPal under PayPal's own privacy statement. We never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal shares with us the payment details we need to deliver your tokens and handle refunds or disputes: the order and transaction IDs, amount, status, and your PayPal payer ID and email address. We keep these together with your account ID and the token record for as long as needed for accounting, refunds and fraud prevention.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep account and game data while your account exists. Logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and troubleshooting. Records of bans for serious rule-breaking may be kept to stop repeat abuse.

7. Your Choices and Account Deletion

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and characters. Email us from the address on your account with your account name. We may ask you to confirm you own the account before we act. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Children

Primordial WoW is for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service is perfectly secure. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.

10. Changes and Contact
