Server Changelog — October 2026 Update Important

📜 PrimordialWoW — Server Changelog Revision: v0.9.5 (October 30, 2026) Realm: Stormbound · Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a · North America 🎮 Getting In Is Easier One-Click Installer: There's now a single download, PrimordialWoW-Setup.exe, on the How to Play page. It sets up the game and the realmlist for you, so you don't need to edit any files. If you already have a 3.3.5a client, setting the realmlist by hand still works. Account Emails Working: Registration and password-recovery emails are now delivered, so you can verify your account and reset your password yourself. Website and Game Accounts Linked: The first time you log in to the website, your profile is created automatically and linked to your game account. 📖 New Website Pages Server Info: Realm details, rates, features, the restart schedule and a step-by-step connection guide, all in one place. Rules: Clear, standard rules on cheating, botting, exploits, respect, names, real-money trading and account safety. FAQ: Answers to the most common questions about connecting, accounts, rates and more. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy: Now available from the site footer. Translations: The new pages and the home page are now available in Deutsch, Español, Français, Português, Русский and 中文. Use the language picker in the top-right corner. ⚔️ In-Game Updates Transmog NPCs: Change the look of your gear for 10 silver. Appearances you unlock are shared across your account. Find them in Stormwind, Orgrimmar and Dalaran. Arena Spectator NPCs: Watch live arena matches. Also in Stormwind, Orgrimmar and Dalaran. Both new NPCs go live after the daily restart on October 31 at 4:00 AM MT. Orgrimmar Dungeon Master: Moved to a more convenient spot near the bank. Rates Reminder: 5x XP and 2x movement speed are intentional and part of the Stormbound experience. 🕓 Daily Restart Schedule The realm restarts every day at 4:00 AM Mountain Time (MT). A 5-minute warning is broadcast in-game first so you have time to finish up and log out safely. Restarts are quick and keep the realm fast and stable. 🎨 Website Look & Performance Faster Website: Pages now load noticeably faster. Volcanic Theme: The site has been fully redesigned with a dark volcanic look, drifting embers, fiery red and gold accents, and glowing buttons. New Navigation & Buttons: The top menu and download buttons have been restyled to match the new theme. Layout Fixes: Fixed layout issues so images and videos display cleanly on desktop and mobile. A mysterious new order of tacticians has surfaced across the capital cities, presenting a unique challenge to the most daring heroes of the realm. The Dungeon Master module is officially active on PrimordialWoW, offering a dynamic, high-stakes gauntlet built to test your class mastery, strategic positioning, and raw combat endurance. 🛡️ What is the Dungeon Master Event? The Dungeon Master module introduces custom administrative in-game entities that act as automated gauntlet orchestrators. Instead of standard dungeon trash, players interface with a specialized Dungeon Master NPC to trigger sequential, scaling waves of elite monsters and iconic boss encounters directly inside a closed arena layout. As you defeat each wave, the difficulty scales up, modifying enemy health pools, casting speeds, and ability damage. The further your party advances, the greater the prestige and the grander the spoils! 🗺️ Where to Find the Dungeon Master NPCs The regional Dungeon Masters have set up training circles inside the primary capital hubs. Gather your allies and speak directly to them at the following permanent locations: Alliance Champions: Located in the heart of the Stormwind City Trade District, right outside the main auction house gates. Horde Champions: Located in Orgrimmar's Valley of Strength, stationed right next to the central Warchief’s command building. Neutral / Sanctuary Ground: For high-tier cross-faction brackets, a master broker is located in the center of Dalaran City, near the Eventide square layouts. 📜 How to Participate: Step-by-Step Participating in the trials is seamless and fully automated: 1. Form Your Party: While solo attempts are permitted for certain challenge tiers, forming a balanced group (Tank, Healer, and DPS) is highly recommended for higher difficulty waves. 2. Locate the Master: Travel to your faction's designated capital city location listed above. 3. Select Your Tier: Right-click the Dungeon Master NPC to open the custom interaction dialogue structure. Choose your desired challenge tier based on your item level and group composition. 4. Enter the Gauntlet: Once your group leader confirms readiness, the arena gates will close, initializing the countdown timer. 5. Survive and Claim Victory: Defeat the incoming waves before the countdown timer expires. Once the encounter concludes, speak with the Master again to distribute your cosmetic rewards, currency tokens, and commemorative server achievements! Below is the operational schedule for our live realm: 🔄 1. Daily Rolling Realm Restarts (Every 24 Hours) Schedule: Automated execution every day at 04:00 AM [Server Time]. Downtime Duration: 2 to 5 minutes. Purpose: Clears system memory allocation loops, flushes temporary character instance states, resets world creature nodes, and backs up core acore_auth and acore_characters tables to our local secure storage volumes. A 15-minute warnings broadcast (.announce) will automatically fire in-game before shutdown. 🛠️ 2. Weekly Core Upgrades & Extended Maintenance (Every Sunday Morning) Schedule: Every Sunday morning from 03:00 AM to 07:00 AM [Server Time]. Downtime Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 hours. The Compilation Pipeline (Why it takes time): PrimordialWoW does not use outdated pre-compiled binaries. To deploy performance patches, database updates, and changes made to our .conf configuration files, our pipeline executes a full structural build: Source Synchronization: The system connects to the main development repository to securely fetch the latest source code additions. CMake Architecture Generation: System dependencies and custom modules (like the Dungeon Master module) are structurally re-mapped. C++ Compilation Lifecycle: The server machine utilizes its multi-core processor layout to completely build fresh, optimized copies of authserver.exe and worldserver.exe using MSBuild/Visual Studio engines. Database Migration Hooks: Any new structural updates or item columns are safely integrated into the world databases before boot. 💾 3.
